iPhone Users Can Now Make Group Calls On WhatsApp With Up To 31 Participants – Here’s How

The feature to initiate group calls with up to 31 participants is available for iOS users who install the latest update of WhatsApp from the App Store.

In good news for iPhone users, the Meta-owned popular instant messaging application WhatsApp is widely rolling out a feature to initiate group calls with up to 31 participants. It will allow WhatsApp iOS users to quickly connect with a larger number of participants with just a few taps.

“WhatsApp has recently released the 23.21.72 update for iOS on the App Store. We discovered that WhatsApp is widely rolling out improved calling to everyone,” WABetaInfo reported.

The Meta-owned app is releasing the ability to pick up to 31 people before placing a group call. In previous updates, group calls already supported up to 32 participants, but users were initially limited to selecting only 15 contacts when initiating such calls.

HERE’S HOW TO INITIATE GROUP CALLS ON WHATSAPP WITH UP TO 31 PARTICIPANTS

– Open WhatsApp, then tap the CALLS tab.

– Tap New call > New group call.

– Find the contacts you want to add to the call, then tap Voice call.

With the latest updates, users can finally start group calls by experimenting with the full capacity of 32 participants right from the outset, simplifying and enhancing the calling experience.
