Sensex Today: Tracking gains elsewhere in Asia, domestic benchmark indices opened higher on Friday in an attempt to recover from the previous selloff. The BSE Sensex rose 348 points to 63,470, and the NSE Nifty50 gained 90 points to 18,947.
Tata Steel, Infosys, M&M, SBI, Sun Pharma and NTCP led gains on the Sensex, while Hindalco and Bajaj Auto were the top Nifty winners.
On the flip side, Asian Paints, HUL, Nestle and Ultratech Cement were among the few frontline drags.

The broader markets also rebounded sharply. The BSE MidCap and SmallCap indices rose 1 per cent each.
