As soon as the bulb turns off, the flies move toward his mobile device and the boy continues leading them away from the front porch of a house. He only puts off his mobile torch in front of a street light pole. This changes the insects’ direction to the pole light, thereby freeing them from the annoying buzzing sounds.

Then there were those with practical responses, some said he could have just turned the bulb off to change the bugs’ direction, and many also called it an old trick. “Bro completely wasted his time, he should have just turned off the light so that the flies would naturally gather at the nearby pole light,” wrote one.
Another expressed, “This hidden talent should be hidden.”
Why do bugs gather around light?
Although there’s no fixed answer to the question, experts have come up with several theories for the common phenomenon. One suggests that artificial light ruins the sense of direction of bugs. It is believed that insects follow natural light sources like the sun or the moon to navigate. Hence, when they see illuminated bulbs or porch lights they seemingly mistake them for the sun or moon and begin to swarm around the source in the dark.
