SBI customers will not be able to use internet banking services due to scheduled activity of the bank. However, the bank hasn’t mentioned anything about the availability of YONO app services.
State Bank of India (SBI) on Friday (October 13) said that its customers will not be able to use internet banking application services due to scheduled activity in the wee hours on October 14 (Saturday). SBI, which announced it on its official website, didn’t say anything about the services of YONO app during the scheduled activity.

When will SBI services be unavailable?
According to the SBI website, the services of Internet Banking Application will not be available between 00:40 hrs to 02:10 hrs on 14.10.2023 due to scheduled activity. However, for basic services one can avail WhatsApp banking services.

SBI’s new safety measures
Apart from this, the country’s largest public sector bank SBI has also started mandatory profile password change after 365 days for extra security.
Customers who have installed ‘SBI Secure OTP App’ on their mobile and have completed the registration process will now receive the login OTP for OnlineSBI.com on the app instead of SMS OTP.

SBI writes, “Call us on toll free numbers 1800 1234 and 1800 2100 and get a wide range of services through SBI Contact Centre.”
