Reportedly, the incident occurred under the jurisdiction of the Mundka police station and has caused alarm among the residents of the region. The footage of this shocking incident was posted on X by the news agency ANI.

Six unidentified bikers can be seen in a video snatching money from an employee at gunpoint in the Mundka district. One of the perpetrators is seen pulling out a gun and pointing it at a petrol pump attendant, catching him off guard. He then injures him by beating him on the head with the gun. The thieves opened fire on a petrol pump employee who was attempting to stop them with a barrier. However, the robbers fled the scene on two motorcycles. The police authenticated the CCTV footage that has gone viral on the internet, as per the agency. Reportedly, they stole about ten and twelve thousand rupees from the employees.

As per a report by the Free Press Journal, the employees at the petrol pumps are safe, and no significant injuries have been reported. One of the employees was wounded in the head by the gun and is being treated. The police have opened an investigation to find the perpetrators as soon as possible.

Thefts in public places are on the rise but the police are working around the clock to keep cities safe. Recently, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch in Gujarat apprehended two people for stealing Rs 10.72 lakh. According to a police official, the accused used to fly through aeroplanes to steal money from ATMs.
During this inquiry into the ATM theft, the Amraiwadi police station discovered that the two suspects were from Punjab. According to authorities, the duo flew from Chandigarh to Ahmedabad to carry out the theft. They added that the thieves stayed in a hotel near Ahmedabad airport, which they booked on the basis of a duplicate Aadhaar card. Further, they bought a two-wheeler from an online marketing site, got gas cutters and oxygen canisters, and used Google Maps to find an ATM. They flew back to Delhi after the robbery.
