Chinese smartphone brand Vivo on Wednesday launched its two new V-series smartphones – Vivo V29 5G and Vivo V29 Pro 5G — in India. Both smartphones are coming 50MP OIS Night Camera coupled with ‘Smart Aura Light’ technology, a 6.78-inch Curved 120Hz display and India-exclusive ‘Wedding Portrait’ camera feature.

VIVO V29 PRO 5G, VIVO V29 5G: PRICE IN INDIA, COLOUR OPTIONS, OFFERS AND AVAILABILITY
Vivo V29 Pro 5G price in India starts at 39,999 for 8GB+256GB variant and Rs 42,999 for the higher 12GB+256GB variant. The smartphone comes in in two colour options — Himalayan Blue and Space Black. The vivo V29 Pro will be available for purchase starting October 10 on Flipkart, vivo India e-store, and all partner retail stores.
On the other hand, Vivo V29 will be available in two storage variants starting October 17 at Rs 32,999 (8GB + 128GB) and Rs 36,999 (12GB + 256GB), across Flipkart, Vivo India e-store, and retail stores. The device comes in Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red (with colour-changing), and Space Black options.

The company has also announced offers on the latest V29 series. Interested buyers can get up to 10 per cent cashback with additional upgrade bonus of up to Rs 4,000 on purchase. The brand is also offering instant discount of up to Rs 3,500 using HDFC and SBI Banks, along with an additional upgrade bonus of up to Rs 3,500.

The Vivo V29 Pro and V29 smartphones feature a 3D borderless curved display. Both devices are equipped with a 6.78-inch 1.5K 3D Curved 120Hz display, HDR 10+ certification and peak brightness is 1300 nits with the pixel density of 452 PPI.

The Vivo V29 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, while the Vivo V29 packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. Both devices operate on Android 13-based FunTouch OS 13. Coming to the battery, Both V29 Pro and V29 come with a large 4600mAh battery with 80W FlashCharge.
In terms of camera specifications, both devices feature a triple rear camera setup. The Pro model houses a 50MP OIS Night camera with an IMX766 main sensor with a 50MP Eye AF front camera for video calls and selfies. Vivo V29, on the other hand, sports a 50MP OIS Night camera, an 8MP Wide-Angle camera and a 50MP Eye AF selfie camera.
According to the company, both V29 and V29 Pro also come with India-exclusive Wedding Portrait Feature, along with a host of new camera features such as 50MP EYE AF Group selfie, Super Night Video mode, Astro Mode, and Pro Sports mode among many others.
