Kangana Ranaut shut down social media users and trolls discussing Chandramukhi 2’s box office collection. The actress played the lead in the Tamil film opposite Raghava Lawrence. Several socail media users pointed out that limited information has been provided about Chandramukhi 2’s box office collection and reached out to trade experts to weigh in. One such tweet caught Kangana’s attention. She shared the details of the collection and went on to slam users trolling the film.

“Hello @taran_adarsh bhai, After giving ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating, Looks like you forgot to update box office collections for this movie… I mean #Chandramukhi2,” a social media user on X (previously known as Twitter) posted. Kangana replied, “Badi kasak hai aapke seene mein miya. Neend nahi aa rahi Chandramukhi ke baare mein soch rahe ho? Mujhse pooch lete ek minute mein tumhari kasak ko masal deti. Approx 40cr WW just in 3 days. So ja aab…”
A user, in response to her answer, claimed that Kangana was not revealing the full picture. They added that Chandramukhi 2 had collected on Rs 12 crore and it is a ‘disaster.’ “Kyu? Tumko to net se matlab tha na? Net me sirf 12cr hua hai Disaster ho gyi hai film. Tumko south wale bhi troll kar rahe. Even south media is making fun of you. Shame left?? Aur karo boycott bollywood. Ek kahawat hai. ‘Apne pair pe kulhadi’ aur ‘na ghar ke na ghaat ke,’” said the user.

Kangana replied, “Achcah hai tumhare paas ghar aur ghat dono hai aab raho wahi pe .” When a fan asked her to ignore these trolls, Kangana replied, “Thoda masti toh kar sakte hain na .” A user also also reached out to Kangana, claiming that Lakshmi Menon did a better job than her at playing the role. “Kangana Ma’am, Even #Lakshmimenon did better Chandramukhi character compared you. So learning the acceptance first then talk.” Kangana shut down the user by replying, “I don’t dispute that, does that mean I must go mute?? How random is that .”

The actress also slammed a report that claimed The Vaccine War is a diaster. Kangana wrote, “Why do you want to write such nasty things about any film? Does success means only money ?? Why do you all humiliate artists like this ? Of all the releases #VaccineWar got the best reviews, a well made film in itself is not success? Do all businesses always see profits? Some endeavours bear fruits and some don’t. Why like vultures always looking for corpses? Writing obituaries? Shame on people like you. Someone like you who sits at home knows not even F of films how do you even muster the courage to be so nasty, cruel and judgemental?”
Chandramukhi 2 has opened to fairly good reviews. Even Rajinikanth penned a sweet note for the film. “I heartily congratulate Shri. P. Vasu, who took his massively successful film in a completely new direction, giving cinephiles a beautiful entertainer, and my brother Raghava Lawrence who has acted wonderfully, as well as the entire cast and crew of the film,” he wrote in Tamil.
