The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is an initiative taken by the central government to help the farmers financially. However, there are some farmers who will not be able to reap the benefits of the scheme.

Every year, the farmers are given Rs 6000 as minimum income support. The money is given in instalments each year. There are some regulations which are to be followed while claiming the benefits of the scheme. According to reports, many farmers this year are not making it to the beneficiary list due to many reasons.

The first reason is the verification of land records. Before an instalment is issued, the beneficiary list is reviewed thoroughly. If something wrong or amiss is discovered then the concerned name of the beneficiary is omitted from the list.

The EKYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) is a requirement to make the beneficiary list. To get the upcoming 15th instalment, it is important for the farmers to complete their EKYC. If they are unable to complete this step, the beneficiary may not be able to make it to the list. And even if you are eligible for the scheme but do not have the EKYC then also, your name will not appear on the list. You must complete the process as soon as possible by visiting the official PM Kisan Yojana website, or the CSC (Common Services Center).

According to reports, even if a farmer is eligible to get the instalment, if there are errors and mistakes in their application form, for example in gender, address, name, or bank account number, they will not be able to find their name in the list. They must make sure to enter the correct details and cross-check them.

The next instalment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is scheduled for November 2023. The money is given in three instalments of Rs 2,000 per year. It was announced by cabinet minister Piyush Goyal on February 1, 2019. The budget of the scheme is Rs 75,000 crore, as per reports.
