Lexus EV Concept Teased Ahead Tokyo Motor Show Debut, Details Inside

The Lexus EV concept is expected to hit the market somewhere around in 2026. However, the company is yet to share the official details about the same. 

The Japanese car manufacturer Toyota has been working on one of the EV concepts under the Lexus leadership, which is all set to make its official presence next month Tokyo Motor Show. It has been reported that the electric car is likely to come with advanced cutting-edge technology, which will be capable of providing a max range of 800km on a single charge.

It has been reported that the company’s decision to unveil of EV concept at the motor show comes at a time when leading car maker introducing their new products in the same segment, and raising the competitive bar high.

As per the details shared by the company, it says the EV’s body and modular structure has been revolutionized, the production method has been changed drastically, and the software platform completely revamped.

Talking about the design, it seems like the upcoming EV concept will share a lot of styling cues from the saloon concept Lexus, which was unveiled by the company in 2021. However, it is expected to carry its individual charm, which might attract the audience.

Going by the shared images, the EV might feature a low-slung design, which is equipped with a stylish LED headlight setup, LED DRLs, chrome finish company’s logo, placed in the center position in the front grille, a massive bonnet, and among others.

Lexus EV Concept Battery

It has been reported that the vehicle will have a new lithium-ion battery technology, allowing the car to go the extra mile by offering extra. Amid this, it also has been speculated that the company is also planning to introduce a new lithium-ion battery chemistry, which is likely to offer 1,000km on a full top-up.
