Top intel sources say: “It is surprising when a developed country such as Canada does not cooperate with more than 20 probes… You have diplomatic ties with India, but you are allowing referendum and protests. Similar things can be done in New Delhi too, but we never allow it.”
Even as Canada has been consistent in its support for the Sikh community in the country, this is the first time that the country is going openly against India, with its support for recent Khalistani protests, referendum and even giving shelter to known

“It is surprising when a developed country such as Canada does not cooperate with more than 20 probes and pending Letter Rogatories (LRs). You have diplomatic ties with India, but you are allowing open war from your soil in terms of referendum and protests in front of diplomatic missions. Similar things can be done in New Delhi too, but we never allow it to respect diplomacy,” said sources.
The bilateral ties between India and Canada hit a new low after the G20 Summit when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited India. During Trudeau’s visit, PM Modi conveyed India’s strong concerns about the continuing anti-India activities of extremist elements in Canada.
Trudeau, meanwhile, has accused India of being involved in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar earlier this year. The Ministry of External Affairs while responding to the allegations on Tuesday said the claims made by Trudeau are “motivated and absurd”.

AREAS OF CONCERN
Among the areas of concern in Canada is the immigration cartel, which is forcing the Indian youth to join the gangsters or get involved in peddling drugs or join the anti-India protests, said sources.
These drug cartels even force young girls from Punjab into prostitution, they added.
Agencies have found that the youngsters participating in the protests in front of the Indian consulate in Canada are mainly from the United Kingdom (UK), Germany and other countries. They visit Canada on the invite of the local Sikh Canadians and are supported by Trudeau, said sources.

PAK HAND
Another worry is the penetration of Pakistan in Trudeau’s party — The Liberal Party of Canada. Bilal Cheema, who operates on behalf of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), funds Trudeau’s party, say intelligence sources. “Whenever Trudeau visits British Columbia, he stays at their homes,” they said.
Recently, Canada has started to issue visas to more Pakistani students just to gain money and support from the country, sources said. “Trudeau attends major events organised by Pakistanis, but Indian-origin entrepreneurs such as Sukh Dhaliwal, a major supporter of Trudeau, and others never visit any Indian events. They were even seen at a Pakistan Independence Day event, but never attended India’s Independence Day celebrations,” they said.
“A maulvi from British Columbia mosque is also likely to get a seat as an MLA in Trudeau’s party, while Cheema will get a seat as an MP with the help of MP Randeep Sarai. But they have never offered any seat to a Punjabi, Gujarati or anyone else,” sources added.
