SS Rajamouli announces his next ambitious project ‘Made In India’.
After the global success of RRR, SS Rajamouli announces his next ambitious project. On the auspicious occassion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the filmmaker took to his social media handle to share the first motion poster of his next ‘Made In India’ – a biopic revolving around the father of Indian cinema.

Sharing a video on Twitter, he wrote, “When I first heard the narration, it moved me emotionally like nothing else. Making a biopic is tough in itself, but conceiving one about the FATHER OF INDIAN CINEMA is even more challenging. Our boys are ready and up for it..:) With immense pride, Presenting MADE IN INDIA…”
Made In India will be helmed by National Award winning director Nitin Kakkar. The film will be backed by Varun Gupta and presented by SS Karthikeya. The film will be releasing in Marathi, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
According to a report in Deadline, the Rajamouli is keen on telling the story of ‘the birth and rise of Indian cinema’. A source close to the team also revealed that the film promises to be a “magnum opus on a huge scale and canvas”.

Earlier this year, SS Rajamouli’s RRR won an Oscar in Best Original Song category for Naatu Naatu at the 95th Academy Awards which took place in Los Angeles. The film starred Jr NTR and Ram Charan in pivotal roles and had cameo appearances of Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. The film turned out to be a huge commercial blockbuster earning more than Rs 1000 crores at the global box office.
