In a move to expand the Magnite lineup, the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan is all set to bring the mid-size SUV in automated manual transmission (AMT) to the Indian market. It has been reported that the vehicle will be offered in 1.0 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will be paired with an AMT gearbox.

Nissan Magnite 1.0 AMT Expected Price
It is expected that the above-mentioned trim will hit the market with a price tag of Rs 9.5 lakh (ex-showroom), which is expected to give a big boost to sales. However, the company has not shared or revealed any official details regarding the same as yet. But, some reports claim that it drop the price details for the new trim in the upcoming weeks.

Nissan Magnite 1.0 AMT Features
Apart from this transmission, the mid-size SUV is expected to also come with minor cosmetic changes. But, reportedly will car will carry forward most of the features that include a multi-functional steering wheel, smartwatch connectivity, an 8-inch infotainment system with all the car connect technology, an advanced 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, dual climate control, seat belt reminder, a 360-degree camera, among others.

When it comes to safety, the upcoming trim will be equipped with ABS with EBD, Hill Start Assist, multiple airbags, parking sensors, an Electronic Stability Program, traction control, speed alert and whatnot.

Nissan Magnite 1.0 AMT Rivals
As far as the rivals are concerned, under the expected price range of 9.5 lakh (ex-showroom), the Nissan Magnite’s upcoming trim will compete against Renault Kiger, Tata Punch, newly launched Hyundai Exter and Citroen C3.
