Are you planning update you Aadhaar card? Well, then this is the perfect time. This is because, at present there is no charged being levied on any update made in Aadhaar Card. However, this facility will be available to customers only for the next 20 days. Hence, the Aadhaar authorities have appealed to to the people to keep their Aadhaar updated.

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is providing free service to Aadhaar users to update any information. The Aadhaar Authority asked users that they must update all the details of their Aadhaar, especially those users whose Aadhaar has completed 10 years and till now the details have not been updated even once.
The UIDAI made the service of updating Aadhaar details or documents free of cost on March 14,2023 and the free service will continue till September 14, which is just about 20 days away. So, if you want to update your Aadhaar, you can do it now for free. The Aadhaar authority has clarified that the free update service is available only online i.e. on the myAadhaar portal.

However, a fee of Rs 50 on updating Aadhaar at physical Aadhaar centres will continue to be applicable as before.

Step 1: Login to https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ using your Aadhaar number and enter the One Time Password (OTP) sent to the registered mobile number.
Step 2: Click on ‘Document Update’ and the details of the Aadhaar user will appear.
Step 3: Now verify the details, if correct, click on the next hyper-link.
Step 4: Now verify the details, if correct, click on the next hyper-link.
Step 5: Select Proof of Identity and Proof of Address document from the dropdown list.
Step 6: Upload copies of the same to update his/her documents.
Step 7: The list of updated and acceptable documents is available on the official website of UIDAI.
