YEIDA Residential Plot Scheme 2023: Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority’s (YEIDA) residential plot scheme has received bumper response from the prospective buyers.
According to a report in Navbharat Times, the scheme has received about 75,000 registrations since it was thrown open to the public. Among the registration numbers, 39,852 purchased the application to apply.
The flats, situated in Sector 16, 17 and 20 adjacent to the renowned Yamuna Expressway, are available on a draw basis.

The brochure containing application is available on the website www.yamunaexpresswayauthority.com by paying Rs 500/- + 18 per cent GST. Applicants can apply through online method.
YEIDA Authority is optimistic about garnering a positive response, given the advantageous location of these residential plots.
The plot scheme encompasses a total of 1,184 plots, varying in size from 120 to 2,000 square meters, including dimensions of 120 sqm, 162 sqm, 200 sqm, 300 sqm, 500 sqm, 1000 sqm, and 2000 sqm. Specifically, 194 plots are available within the 120 sqm size category, with an additional 260 plots in the 162 sqm size category. Notably, the 200 sqm category comprises a limited allotment of 466 plots by the Authority.
According to an IANS report, as per the concession agreement, which is binding on both the parties, the developer as well as the government, the airport has to be operational before October 1, 2024. Test flights will start from the last week of February and the first week of March next year.
There are DGCA norms on how many cargo and commercial flights should be operated. These norms are followed which takes almost six months…. After the successful run of the test flight, it is possible that commercials flights might be operational from August or September.

Many big national and international companies are also applying for land in the Yamuna Authority to set up their industries ahead of the launch of the international airport.
