Features spotted in iOS 17 beta 6
The latest iOS 17 beta 6 update brings a host of enhancements to the Messages app. Now, by simply holding down the “+” button, users can effortlessly access the photo picker, eliminating the need to navigate through a list and select the Photos option. In a recent interface adjustment, Apple relocated the red end call button within the Phone app from the bottom center to the bottom right. However, this change received mixed reactions due to users’ ingrained habit of tapping the center. Responding to feedback, in the sixth beta iteration, Apple has reverted the end call button back to its familiar central position, aligning with its placement in iOS 16 and earlier versions.
Apple’s dedication to refining user experience extends to mood-tracking animations. Notably, the animations for mood tracking have been fine-tuned. The moods’ surrounding rings now exhibit swifter and more numerous animations around each mood shape. A fresh splash screen welcomes users to the Photos app, effectively introducing them to the new features seamlessly.
In the Photos app, you can pinch to crop images in this app and iPhone users will also be able to see their desired pictures in the Photos widget. One will also be able to reorder and make some other changes. People will see separate Pets Albums too.
