Stock market today: The NSE Nifty and BSE Sensex opened at record highs on Tuesday, July 18. The Nifty opened above the 19,700 level for the first time, while the Sensex held above the 66,000 mark. Last seen, the Nifty50 index was trading at 19,784.15, up 72.7 points, while the S&P BSE Sensex was trading at 66,862.72, up 272.79 points, or 0.41 per cent. Among individual stocks, shares of HDFC Bank rose nearly 1 per cent, Wipro opened over 1 per cent higher; IndusInd Bank opened nearly 1 per cent higher; and Infosys also opened over 1 per cent higher.
