Tecno has unveiled its camera-centric smartphone, the CAMON 20 Premier 5G, in India. This device is the successor of the CAMON 20 and CAMON 20 Pro 5G and the company claims that it comes with several upgrades. For example, Tecno CAMON 20 Premier 5G introduces industry-first Sensor-Shift Stabilisation Anti-Shaking Technology with RGBW Pro Technology. Additionally, it sports a 108MP ultra-wide lens and a 32MP UHD selfie camera. The smartphone is available at Rs 29,999.

CAMON 20 Premier 5G: 50MP RGBW Ultra-Sensitive Sensor for Night Portrait
By replacing the “green” array solution in the traditional RGB colour filter with a “white” one, the RGBW sensor allows more light to be captured. While the 1G+6P lens increases the light intake by replacing one of the plastic lenses with a glass one in the process when light reaches the main sensor. The main sensor on TECNO CAMON 20 Premier 5G is also increased from 1/1.73 to 1/1.56(the single pixel size from 0.8μm to 1.0μm, with 56.25 per cent larger pixel unit size to ensure images are as close to real-life scenes as possible.

CAMON 20 Premier 5G: 108MP Ultra Definition Camera
Besides its 50MP main camera, CAMON 20 Premier 5G’s camera module also comprises a 108MP Ultra Definition camera, which enables users to capture ultra-wide horizons and super macro close-ups all in stunning detail. For selfies, it has a 32MP Ultra Clear AI Shining Selfie camera.
CAMON 20 Premier 5G: 6.67-inch AMOLED
Tecno CAMON 20 Premier 5G has a 6.67-inch AMOLED true-colour screen, supporting a full-path cinema-grade P3 wide colour gamut with 10-bit display. It has a 47 per cent narrower bottom bezel. Additionally, the phone is certified by TüV Rheinland Eye Protection technology at 120Hz Adaptive Refresh Rate. The Camon 20 Premier 5G also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
