After Tovino Thomas’s Minnal Murali, a new pan-India superhero film is in the works by Telugu director Prasanth Varma. It is titled Hanu-Man. The upcoming film stars Teja Sajja in the lead role. On Saturday, July 1, Prasanth announced the new release date of the film. It got delayed due to post production work. Hanu-Man has been shot in Hyderabad and will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
HANU-MAN GETS A RELEASE DATE
Teja Sajja, who was last seen in Ishq – Not A Love Story with Priya Prakash Varrier, is all set to feature in a superhero film. Directed by Prasanth Varma, the film is titled Hanu-Man. HanuMan will drop in theatres on Sankranthi next year, January 12, 2024. Prasanth Varma took to Twitter to share a new poster of Hanu-Man. He also announced the official release date. The film was initially supposed to release on May 12, 2023, but got postponed due to post production work.
Calling Hanu-Man his dream project, Prasanth Varma wrote on Twitter, “I have spent 2 years of my life on this film and ready to spend another 6 months to give you nothing but the best!#HANUMAN on JAN 12th 2024, SANKRANTHI (sic).”

Directed by Prasanth Varma, Hanu-Man stars Teja Sajja in the lead role. Touted to be a superhero film, Hanuman will release in five languages. Produced by K Niranjan Reddy, the cast and crew were earlier shooting Hanu-Man in Hyderabad. The film. is set in the fictional village of Anjanadri. This superhero film also stars Hanumanthu, Amritha Aiyer as Meenakshi, Satish Kumar, and Raj Deepak Shetty.
