Agra-based HMA Agro Industries, a frozen buffalo meat exporter, is expected to announce the allotment status of its initial public offering (IPO) today, that is June 30.
The HMA Agro Industries IPO opened on June 20 and closed on June 23. The price band for the IPO was ₹555 to ₹585 per share.

Weak retail participation
On its last day, the HMA Agro Industries IPO was subscribed 1.62 times, receiving bids for 97.93 lakh equity shares against 60.53 lakh shares on offer. While the qualified institutional buyer portion was subscribed 1.74 times, the non-institutional investors portion was subscribed 2.97 times. The retail portion witnessed underwhelming participation and was subscribed 0.96 times, less than what was on offer.
Grey market premium
The shares of HMA Agro Industries are currently commanding a grey market premium (GMP) of ₹12 per share. GMP is the premium at which IPO shares are traded in an unofficial market before they are listed on the stock exchanges.
