The Amazon Prime Day sale has been announced for the Indian market. The e-commerce platform will be holding the sale event for just 48 hours. It will start on July 15 and will end on July 16, which is until 11:59 PM. The official sale page of Amazon shows that it will offer up to 75 percent discount on electronics and accessories. But, the exact deals and offers are yet to be revealed by the e-commerce platform.
Amazon is promising that it will offer “unmatched deals across smartphones, consumer electronics, appliances, TVs” and more. It even asserts that consumers will get the “best deals on Echo (with Alexa), Fire TV, and Kindle devices this Prime Day.” There will be up to 55 percent off on the latest smart speakers, smart displays, and Fire TV products.
While announcing the sale event, the company also boasted that “customers will enjoy the fastest speeds ever in India. Prime members ordering from 25 cities of India will be able to enjoy the same day or the very next day delivery of their orders.” These 25 cities include Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Faridabad, Gandhi Nagar, Guntur, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Patna, Pune, Thane, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam.

Bank and Prime member offers revealed ahead of the sale
The company has revealed that the upcoming Amazon Prime Day sale will offer a 10 percent discount on payment using ICICI Bank cards, SBI credit cards, and EMI transactions.
For Prime Day 2023, all customers will get up to a 10 percent instant discount on shopping with Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card. In addition to these shopping benefits, this card comes with unlimited benefits across travel bookings, bill payments, and more on Amazon.
Prime members can sign up for Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card and be eligible to receive rewards of up to Rs 2,500, Rs 300 cashback (only for Prime) as well as rewards worth up to Rs 2200, according to details provided by the company. The non-Prime members can also sign up and get Rs 200 cashback, rewards worth Rs 1,800, and 3-month free Prime membership.
Interestingly, Prime members will also enjoy 5 percent cashback on unlimited rides with Uber when using Amazon Pay as their payment mode. However, do keep in mind that out of the 5 percent, they will receive 4 percent as Uber credit and 1 percent as Amazon Pay cashback, which can be availed to save more on future rides with Uber and fulfill shopping needs on Amazon.
