Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) today launched the OBD2-compliant Honda Dio 2023 at a starting price of Rs 70,211 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The scooter now comes with Honda Smart Key System, which was introduced earlier this year on the Honda Activa 2023.
Powering the Honda Dio 2023 is the OBD-2-compliant 110cc PGM-FI eSP engine, which develops 7.86PS of maximum power and 9.03Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission.

The Honda Dio 2023 features a new fully-digital instrument panel, which beams data on range, average fuel efficiency and real-time fuel efficiency. It also displays details like the total trip, clock and due service. The new cluster comes in Deluxe and Smart variants. There is a side stand indicator with an engine inhibitor.

The Honda Smart Key System of the Honda Dio 2023 offers features like smart find, smart unlock, smart start and smart safe. Among other new additions are redesigned front ribs, LED position lamp, alloy wheels, split grabrail and a new Dio logo.
The top-spec Smart variant of the scooter comes with a Lock Mode, which facilitates a 5-in-1 function (handle lock, ignition off, ignition on, opening fuel lid and opening seat. The scooter also has an engine start/stop switch, a passing switch combi-brake system with equalizer and a 3-step adjustable rear suspension.

The Honda Dio 2023 comes with an all-new 10-year warranty package, which includes three years of standard warranty and seven years of optional extended warranty.
