Hours after a person was injured in an explosion on a heritage street near the Golden Temple, another blast was reported on Heritage Street on Monday morning. The blast occurred near the same spot on Heritage Street near Saragarhi Sarai on the way to the Golden Temple.

The incident happened at around 6.30 am. The police, including police commissioner, and forensic teams have reached the spot and are collecting the samples for examination. No one has been injured and no damage has been reported.
Police are yet to issue an official statement on the blast. The sound of the blast were heard by nearby locals and they also saw smoke in the area after the explosion.
The blast happened as unidentified person hung the explosive substance, bomb, with a thread from Heritage Street parking lot.
