New Delhi: India on Saturday (April 15) recorded 10,753 fresh Covid-19 cases, showing a slight decline for the first time in weeks, according to data from Union Health Ministry.

On Friday, the country reported 11,109 cases, which was a sharp spike within a week.
According to the health ministry, a total of 4,43,22,211 people have recovered so far with the recovery rate maintained at 98.71 per cent. There were also 27 new fatalities increasing the death toll due to the disease to 5,31,091. According to the health ministry, the fatality rate stands as 1.19 per cent.

According to the ministry’s data, 2,20,66,25,517 doses of Covid vaccine have been administered so far under the nationwide inoculation drive, and 397 injections were administered in a single day.
