Rajasthan will get its first Vande Bharat Express train on April 12. The train between Delhi-Jaipur-Ajmer will be India’s 14th Vande Bharat train, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually.
Meanwhile, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and several other MPs and MLAs will be present in Jaipur on the occasion of the inauguration of this train, which will depart from Jaipur at 12.30 pm.
“All preparations for the operation of the Vande Bharat Express train have been completed. Its trial run was completed recently. At the same time, the trial report was also sent to the Railway Board by the North Western Railway,” Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway Shashi Kiran was quoted as saying in a report by ANI.
The train will reportedly have two stoppages at Alwar and Gurgaon.

“The commencement of the train operation will bring great relief to the people and will complete the journey between Delhi-Jaipur in less time,” Shashi Kiran said.
Earlier on March 19, the Union Railway Minister had said that some technical changes are needed in this route before the operation of the Vande Bharat Express, fully.
Meanwhile, PM Modi on Saturday dedicated two more Vande Bharat trains to the nation. In the morning, he inaugurated Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat train during his Telangana visit. Later in the evening, he flagged off Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express.
With two more Vande Bharat trains, India now has 13 such semi-high speed trains plying on different routes across the country.
