The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) developed the e-nomination programme for the advantage of its members to make updating nominee information easier. According to the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization, nominations must be recorded in EPF accounts (EPFO).

If a nominee is not nominated for an EPF account, the account user might not be able to utilise all of EPFO’s advantages. Users with access to an account can enter the nominee’s name and other details online at the EPFO’s official website. To add a new proposal to your online epf account, follow these steps.

- Log in to the UAN EPFO website.
- Choose ‘Manage’ and ‘e-Nomination’ from the menu.
- Select ‘Yes’ in the family declaration. With information about your application, complete the ‘Add Family Details’ part.
- Give your address, bank details, including the bank’s IFSC code and nominee account number, your Aadhar number, birthdate, gender, connection to you and the user, and your relationship with them.
- If you only want to submit one proposal, choose ‘Make Row’; otherwise, choose ‘Save Family Data’.
- Submit the message from the data that is correctly saved when you select ‘Save EPF Nomination’.
- Next, pick ‘E-Sign’ to generate an OTP.
- Send the OTP to the phone number associated with your Aadhaar.
