In a bid to attract postpaid users, Reliance Jio has brought out a new set of postpaid family plans called Jio Plus at Rs 399 per month. The Jio Plus Postpaid Family plans start at Rs 399 and Rs 699 with a one-month free trial, which can be terminated any time by the customer without questions asked.

The Rs 399 plan has been now made a family plan which means that a user can add three new SIMs to the plan for Rs 99 each. However, users will not get Netflix and Amazon Prime that were offered with the pack earlier. Under the plan, a subscriber would get 75 GB data. It offers unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day.
“…Total monthly charge of only Rs 696 for a family of 4… effective monthly charge of Rs 174 per SIM,” Jio said in a release.
Jio Postpaid Family Plan – Rs 699
In this postpaid plan by Jio, the subscriber would get 3 add-on connections for Rs 99 each. The Rs 699 plan entails 100 GB data and up to 3 add-on connections at Rs 99 per SIM. Customers will have to pay aa processing fee of Rs 99 per SIM during activation.

Once the free trial is complete, the family SIM add-ons will be billed at Rs 99 monthly. They will get 5 GB of data each month.
The idea behind launching Jio Plus is to offer exciting new benefits and experiences to discerning postpaid users, according to Reliance Jio Infocomm Chairman Akash M Ambani.
“After having serviced over 430 million customers, that includes millions of satisfied postpaid users, there cannot be a more opportune time to welcome millions of new postpaid customers,” Ambani said.
These plans will be available from March 22.

Jio Q3FY23 Results
The telco’s net profit in the third quarter (Q3) of the Financial Year 2022-2023 came in at Rs 4,638 crore, up 2.7 per cent from the previous quarter. Jio reported a PAT of Rs 4,758 crore. For the quarter, the revenues of the telecom arm of Reliance Industries Ltd stood at Rs 22,998 crore, a sequential increase of 2.1 per cent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ).
