It looks like the upcoming I/O 2023 developers conference happening on May 10 could be jampacked with both new software and hardware announcements. According to recent leaks, Google is likely to showcase the Pixel 7a, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and even the much anticipated foldable — the Pixel Fold at its developer conference.
According to a blog on WinFuture by Roland Quandt, the first foldable from Google — the Pixel Fold could be teased or showcased at I/O 2023, while the device will go on sale at a later date, in June 2023. It is said that the Pixel Fold will be available in a single storage variant with 256GB and it could have a price tag of around $1,700, slightly more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 (review).

The report suggests that the Pixel Fold will be powered by the Tensor G2 processor with a 7.57-inch primary foldable screen, a 5.79-inch cover display, and a large 4,700 mAh battery, possibly with fast charging and wireless charging.

The Pixel Fold is said to be available in two colours, called “Carbon” and “Porcelain”. Besides, Roland has also shared a few more details on the recently leaked Pixel 7a, the affordable Google smartphone, powered by the Tensor G2.
Just like the Pixel 6a, the Pixel 7a will only be available in just single memory variant, with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Pixel 7a could come in four colour options — “Arctic Blue”, “Carbon” “Cotton” and “Jade”. Just like the Pixel Fold, the Pixel 7a is also said to go on sale in the second week of June and the phone could cost around 500 Euros in select markets.
