Gold, silver prices today, March 10 – The prices of both the precious metals – gold and silver edged higher today in the early trade on March 10 (Friday) on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) in India.
The Gold futures, maturing on April 5, 2023 rose marginally by 0.76 per cent or Rs 417 to stand at Rs 55,328 per 10 grams on the MCX at around 8 AM on March 10.
The prices of silver too rose marginally today as the silver futures expiring on May 5, 2023 climbed up by 0.28 per cent or Rs 173 to stand at Rs 61, 990 per kilogram on Friday, March 10 at around 8 AM.

Both gold and silver settled at Rs 54, 911 and at Rs 61, 817 respectively on the previous trading day close on March 9 (Thursday).

Gold, silver prices today March 10 in international market
In the overseas market, gold was trading flat at USD 1,815 per ounce while silver was down at USD 20.02 per ounce. COMEX Gold prices traded flat in the Asian trading hours on Thursday amid worries that more aggressive US interest rate rises are expected in the future from the Fed.
