Mumbai: In an unfortunate incident, former Union Minister Shivraj Patil Chakurkar shot himself dead at his residence in Latur in Maharashtra this morning.

The 81-year-old former minister sent goodbye text to his family members before committing suicide at his home. Chakurkar was a former union home minister and veteran Congress leader.
His body was taken to hospital. The causue of his suicide is yet to be ascertained.
