Upcoming IPOs: Several companies have already filed their Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP)
Upcoming IPOs: The two-month drought in the IPO market is set to end. At least 9 companies are planning to launch IPOs during the next 5-6 weeks. According to a report by Zee Business channel, these 9 companies will seek to raise approximately Rs 17,000 crore from the primary market.
Notably, no IPO has been launched for the past two months — the same period when the Nifty50 declined 3.5 per cent, thus dampening the companies’ mood to launch their IPOs.

Several companies have already filed their Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP)– a preliminary registration document for companies looking to go public. According to Anil Singhvi, Managing Editor, Zee Business, if a company doesn’t launch its IPO in the current financial year, then it will have to go through the whole process of DRPH filing again.

The report said that Divgi TorqTransfer IPO could hit the market o March 1, thus becoming the first company in 2023 to go public. Divgi TorqTransfer supplies transfer case systems to automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
In the last 8 months, 33 companies’ IPOs worth Rs 49,300 crore lapsed which were granted go ahead by the capital market regulator SEBI.
In 2022, a total of 40 companies raised Rs 59,302 crores through IPOs. In 2021, more than 60 companies made their stock market debut, raising Rs 1.19 lakh crore.
