In these 4 metro cities, WhatsApp Business has collaborated with metro rail service providers for a WhatsApp chatbot, using which, passengers will be able to avail a slew of services from anywhere.

- Using this feature people can book/purchase their tickets
- They can cancel or top-up their transit tickets.
- One can also check the train schedule.
- Route maps, fare breakdowns can also be tracked via the new feature.

How WhatsApp Chatbot Will Work For Metro Commuters in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune
- As of now the feature is available for commuters in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune. They can interact or chat with the bot in the local language or English
- To activate the chatbot, users need to send a message saying ‘Hi,’ to ‘https://wa.me/+918105556677.’
- You will receive an URL to book the e-ticket once the bot is activated.
- The URL enables end-to-end digital payment-enabled ticket booking.
- In Mumbai, the e-ticket is to be verified at the Automated Fare Collection (AFC) Gate.
Commuters must note that they can continue to buy counter tickets, tokens or smartcards as they will function as usual along with the new WhatsApp chatbot system.
