After recording a hike yesterday, both gold and silver are trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Friday, February 17.

Gold futures, maturing on April 5, 2023, saw a downfall of Rs 387 or 0.69 per cent on the MCX and was retailing at Rs 55,975 per 10 grams.
Similarly, silver futures, maturing on March 3, 2023, stood at Rs 65,228 per kg on the MCX, after recording a dip of Rs 613 or 0.93 per cent.
Notably, the prices of gold and silver stood at Rs 56,228 per 10 grams and Rs 65,633 per kg respectively when the market closed on February 16.
