In November last year, the Indian smartphone brand Lava launched a 5G enabled smartphone- Lava Blaze 5G. Priced under Rs 10,000 the Lava Blaze 5G was launched in the market with just a sole variant of 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage. It was first showcased by Minister of Communications and Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnav, at the India Mobile Congress 2022 (IMC) in October 2022. The smartphone did get a good response in the market and looking at the popularity, Lava has now launched a new and ‘powerful’ variant of its Lava Blaze 5G with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model.

The Lava Blaze 5G was launched as an entry-level smartphone for users who want to enjoy fast internet speeds, with modest specifications. The phone runs on Android 12 OS and with the 3GB expandable RAM, Lava is offering a new improved and faster version of its Blaze 5G. The Lava Blaze 5G 6GB RAM variant also comes with 3GB of additional virtual RAM.
Lava Blaze 5G 6GB price in India
Lava has introduced the new variant of Lava Blaze 5G at the price of Rs 11,999. However, the company is giving a special launch discount under which the Blaze 5G 6GB is available for Rs 11,499.
The phone sports a glass black design and comes in two colour options- Glass Green and Glass Blue. The smartphone is available for purchase on e-commerce platforms – Lava E-store and Amazon.in.
Lava Blaze 5G specifications
The Lava Blaze 5G looks a bit similar to the Lava Blaze Pro with a flat edge design and water drop-notch display. The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. Lava has also included a side-mounted fingerprint unlock.

The 5G smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and comes with an octa-core processor with a clock speed of 2.2 GHz, LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 storage.
The Lava Blaze 5G comes with Android 12 OS to offer a clean and bloat-free software experience along with an anonymous call recording feature. At the back, the phone sports a 50-megapixel AI triple rear camera with EIS support and 2K video recording. At the front, the Lava has included an 8-megapixel front camera with a screen flash for selfies housed in the water drop notch.
With 128GB internal memory, Lava is also offering a memory card slot to expand the smartphone memory by up to 1 TB. The phone houses a 5000 mAh battery which is also said to be optimised with the 7nm chipset.
