Aforest ranger in Andhra Pradesh’s Manyam district was trampled to death by a herd of elephants when he was trying to prevent them from entering nearby villages. The incident occurred on Monday evening and the forest ranger died on the spot.
Panic erupted in the outskirts of Pasikudi village in Parvathipuram, Manyam district in Andhra Pradesh after a forest ranger succumbed to death. He was attacked by the herd of elephants he was trying to prevent from entering the nearby villages.
The elephants attacked Lakshinarayana, the elephant tracker, while he was trying to lure the elephants uphill to prevent the herd from entering the village.

Forest department elephant tracker Lakshminarayana died on the spot after being trampled to death by a group of elephants.
