Postpone NEET PG 2023 Latest Update: After failing to meet officials at the Health Ministry regarding the demands of the students for postponement of NEET PG 2023 exam, doctors under the umbrella of Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) on Friday called for a nationwide protest. The association has already written to the Deputy Commissioner of Police seeking permission for peaceful protest by NEET PG aspirants.
“#neetpg2023postpone is the issue which every doctor and NEET aspirants are talking about @mansukhmandviya health minister didnt meet the doctors and now the doctors have planned for Nation wide Protest,” one of the agitating doctors said on Twitter.
The agitating doctors are also demanding the removal of Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring back Dr Harsh Vardhan.
Taking to Twitter, Dr Manish Hangra, Chief Advisor of Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) said, “Respected @narendramodi Ji Hon’ble @PMOIndia our Health Minister @mansukhmandviya is not listening to plea of #CovidWarriors. This is not #AmritKaal it is #विषकाल Kindly help us! #ResignMansukhMandaviya #WeWantBackDrHarshwardhan #PostponeNEETPG2023 @ianilradadiya @DghsIndia.”

Apart from this, the FAIMA has also organized a Twitter Storm on Friday and doctors are Tweeting the hashtag #ResignMansukhMandaviya to express their demands.
After the Twitter Storm, the FAIMA said it will organize a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar and if the authorities do not pay notice to the demands of the students, they will consider shutting down OPD services which might lead to a total shutdown.
Earlier, the FAIMA had written a letter to the health minister and said around 10,000 NEET PG aspirants were ineligible for appearing in the exam. And the association had urged the authorities for postponing the exam by 2-3 months and reconsider the eligibility criteria.
The protest from the doctors comes as the National Board of examinations (NBE) had earlier announced that NEET PG 2023 will be held on 5th March 2023. The result will be declared By 31st March 2023.
