Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been served notice by a Mumbai court after his wife Aaliya Siddiqui filed a case of domestic violence against him and his family.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui Served Notice by Mumbai Court: Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been served notice by court after his wife Aaliya Siddiqui accused him and his family of domestic violence. The Mumbai court acted upon Aaliya’s complaint over a fresh dispute. Earlier, she had also alleged about feeling trapped inside her own house. In her statement, Aaliya said, “My access to the kitchen is banned and I have made the living room sofa, my bed. My friends who send food are not allowed to come in and I am scared to step out, even till the gate to fetch the food. What if doors are closed behind my back?” She further added, “I have known Nawaz for over a decade, I married him when he was not such a popular star. So as his wife, why am I not allowed to live in my own house? Even delivery agents are not allowed in the house, I feel trapped.” She concluded by pointing out, “I don’t have any alternate accommodation. Besides, why should I leave what is rightfully mine?”

MUMBAI’S ANDHERI COURT ISSUES NOTICE TO NAWAZUDDIN SIDDIQUI
Nawazuddin’s mother Mehrunisa Siddiqui had filed an FIR (First Information Report) against his wife for alleged trespassing, as reported by ETimes. Aaliya recorded her statement at the Versova Police Station. After Mehrunisa alleged that she wasn’t Nawazuddin’s wife, Aaliya filed a countercase under section 509, an insult to modesty and section 498A, husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty. She claimed that she was denied access to food, basic amenities and bathroom. Mumbai’s Andheri court has issued a notice to the actor over the complaint filed by his wife, as reported by Times Now.

AALIYA SIDDIQUI’S LAWYER ALLEGES DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AGAINST NAWAZUDDIN SIDDIQUI’S FAMILY
Her lawyer, in an interaction with ETimes said, “I’m going by the admission on paper by Nawaz that Aaliya is his lawfully wedded wife because that is what he says everywhere. And if this case is true, then there is no case of trespass, which can be made against Aaliya by her mother-in-law because she has got no right or liberty to fight any kind of trespassing case against a wife who is entering her own husband’s house. After CCTV cameras were installed, now even bodyguards are there, stopping Aaliya from going to the bathroom in the upper rooms. This means, their complaint of trespass is baseless, and Nawaz is cornered from both sides. Either there is a rape case against him or there is a case of domestic violence because she is not getting food, there is mental, physical, emotional and financial abuse.”
Aaliya’s lawyer concluded, as he pointed out, “The manager received my notice and even the husband has received my notice but they have never bothered to respond. They kept quiet and even threatened.”
Aaliya is Nawazuddin’s second wife as per the report and the couple tied the knot over a decade ago. They are parents to son Yaani Siddiqui and daughter Shora Siddiqui.
