Gold prices soared to an all-time high on Tuesday to breach Rs 57,000 per 10 grams mark. However, the rate of the yellow metal eased on Wednesday i.e. January 25, 2023.
Gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange were in the red, down about Rs 56 at Rs 56,913 per 10 grams at around 10 am.

Gold futures on the MCX hit an all-time high of Rs 57,099 per 10 grams yesterday while on Friday too, the prices of the yellow metal had hit a fresh high of Rs 56,746 per 10 grams.
Silver futures were also in red, down by 0.23 percent (Rs 156) at Rs 68,386 per kg at around 10 am on the MCX. The precious metal had closed at Rs 68, 542 per kg on Tuesday.

Gold prices remained steady on Wednesday as investors stayed away from taking big bets in the wake of US economic growth data this week. Spot gold stood at $1,937.09 per ounce, as of 0249 GMT. US gold futures were up 0.2% at $1,940.00
Similarly, spot silver dipped 0.2% to $23.62 per ounce and platinum lost 0.2% at $1,054.40. Palladium rose 0.1% to $1,745.38.
