The journey to Assam and Meghalaya will begin from Howrah Railway station by train no-12345/ Saraighat Express at 15.55 hours every Friday.
On day 1, travellers will travel from Howrah to Guwahati and after arriving at the Guwahati Railway station, they will be taken to Shillong. The tourists will visit the Umium Lake while travelling to their destination. After check in, the IRCTC will arrange a visit to Don Bosco Museum, Lady Hydari Park, Wards Lake. The dinner will be provided in the hotel.
Day 3 will include a trip to Cherrapunjee and visit to Elephanta falls, Nawkhalikai falls, Mawsmai Caves Dwan Syiem View Point, Eco Park, Seven sister waterfalls and Ramkrishna Mission.
On Day 4, the tourists will be taken to Mawlynnong – Asia’s cleanest village. The next day, the trip will include a visit to Mawsynram, Mawphlang Sacred Forest, Mawjyngbuin Cave, Naturally formed Shiva Linga, Jakrem (Hotwater Spring).
Day 06: After having breakfast at the hotel, tourists will check out from hotel and proceed to visit Canyon view at Laitlum, elephant falls.
On Day 7, travellers will be taken to Maa Kamakhya Temple, Kalakshetra and Bajali Temple.
