Hanuman Jayanti is a Hindu festival celebrating Lord Hanuman’s birth anniversary. He is the Param Bhakt of Shri Rama, who is supposed to end the suffering of his followers. There are many names for Lord Hanuman, including Mahavira, Bajrangbali, Anjaneya, Pawan Putra, Anjaniputra, Kesari Nandan, and Maruti.

On Hanuman Jayanti, devotees observe a day-long fast, offer vermilion or red cloth, and marigolds, visit the temple, and participate in processions and religious events.

Hanuman Jayanti is observed on the full moon day of the Chaitra month, according to the Hindu calendar. It occurs in the months of March and April on the Gregorian calendar. Lord Hanuman is said to have been born at Chaitra Purnima.
