While 2022 was all about #RanAlia, the first big wedding announcement for 2023 is out. And it’s none other than everyone’s favourite couple, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Adavni, who’re all set to tie the knot in February.
According to ETimes, the wedding will take place in the first week of the month and will be a lavish affair with a heightened security. Read on to know what’s on the cards for one of the most-awaited events of the new year.

Sidharth Malhotra & Kiara Advani to wed on 6 February: Sources
ETimes has shared some key details of the Sid-Kiara wedding. According to the publication’s sources, the wedding will take place on 6 February next year. The sources told Etimes, “Sidharth and Kiara are going to get married on 6 February. Their pre-wedding functions will happen on 4 and 5 February, where their guests and families will celebrate the customary mehendi, haldi and sangeet ceremonies. The wedding will take place on the 6th.”

Moreover, it seems like the couple is following in the footsteps of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif in planning a royal wedding set against the magnificent architecture of palaces of Rajasthan. The source further revealed to Etimes, “The wedding is slated to take place at Jaisalmer Palace Hotel. It is going to be a lavish event with high security.” The wedding ceremony, therefore, will take place behind closed doors amidst tight security.
Earlier, a few reports had stated that the couple were scouting wedding venues in Chandigarh and were considering the same location as Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa’s wedding – The Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa & Resorts. Goa was also one of the locations considered earlier, but the couple has finally zeroed in on Jaisalmer.
