New Delhi: Amidst the surge in coronavirus infections across several countries, India has made it mandatory for international passengers arriving from five countries to declare current health status in Air Suvidha form. The new rule has been enforced on arrivals from China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand, news agency ANI reported.
RT-PCR test was also made mandatory for fliers from these countries. If passengers from the said countries are found symptomatic or Covid positive, they will be quarantined, a news report quoted Union health minister Manuskh Mandaviya as saying.
