Ahead of the 250-ward Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its manifesto on Friday. The BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra‘ for the Delhi civic body polls promises a plethora of services, mainly online and within a span of 100 days. Union minister Piyush Goyal released the BJP’s manifesto ‘Sankalp Patra’ for the upcoming MCD polls.

While reading out the 12-pointer manifesto, BJP’s Delhi unit’s head Adesh Gupta said that all services would be made online and accessible via mobile applications.
The BJP’s MCD polls manifesto includes 100 per cent garbage processing. The issue has gained limelight after a persistent war of words on this subject between the AAP and the BJP. As the first phase of campaigns for MCD polls, AAP MLA Atishi Marlena had called for a three-day drive at the Ghazipur landfill site to show the failure of the BJP. On the other hand, the BJP is quite vocal about the fact that ‘funds were the biggest roadblock in management of the garbage piling up at the landfill sites’.
