On 4 November, Bitcoin, the world’s largest crypto, was trading at $20,325.67, dipping by 0.19 percent over the last 24 hours. Its closest rival, Ethereum, slipped by 0.34 percent to $1,549.61.
Other popular altcoins like XRP, Solana, Avalanche, Uniswap, Toncoin, Quant, and Filecoin have been trading with cuts today. On the other hand, cryptos like Polygon zoomed by 17.61 percent, Cardano was up by 2.49 percent, Polkadot gained by 2.66 percent, Cosmos advanced by 6.37 percent, and Chainlink climbed by 5.42 percent, at the time of writing this article (1030 IST).
At present, Bitcoin’s dominance is at 38.5 percent, while that of Ethereum is at 18.7 percent.
The global crypto market cap stood at $1.01 trillion, rising by 0.29 percent since the previous day, while the total crypto market volume was down by 23.72 percent to $79.21 billion.
Today’s top gainers included OKB zooming by 21.33 percent and Loopring advancing by 19.46 percent. In contrast, Arweave and Chain were among the top losers, decreasing by 17.43 percent and 8.23 percent, respectively.
Meme coins in the red
On Friday, popular meme coins like Dogecoin lost 11.14 percent, and another canine-based meme coin, Shiba Inu, decreased by 2.48 percent.
Metaverse tokens
Most of the top Metaverse tokens were in the green on Friday. The Sandbox was up by 2.01 percent, Decentraland gained by 2.62 percent and Axie Infinity increased by 1.30 percent.
