In a bid to provide free-of-cost health care services for women, the Delhi government is all set to start a special ‘Mahila Mohalla Clinic’ in the city from today.
All women can consult gynecologists for free tests, medicines, and consultation at the ‘Mahila Mohalla Clinic’.
Taking to Twitter, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal wrote, “Good news for the women of Delhi. Another new initiative is going to happen in Delhi’s world-class health services from today. The government is going to start a special “Mahila Mohalla Clinic” for women where they will get their gynecologist’s services, tests, and medicines that are free of cost.” (sic)
The Delhi government started mohalla clinics across the national capital to provide free gynecological and other related medical services to women near their homes.
These clinics provide specialized services for women and help those belonging to the middle class and lower-income groups, as the majority of them lack the privileges of specialist doctors and medical facilities.
