On 1 November, most of the top cryptocurrencies showed mixed trends. While Bitcoin, the most popular crypto across the globe, lost 0.19 percent in the past 24 hours and was trading at $20,534.71, Ethereum rose by 0.32 percent to $1,595.01, at the time of writing this article (1030 IST).
Other top cryptos that witnessed price gains today include Cardano advancing by 0.92 percent, Tron up by 0.51 percent, Avalanche gaining by 2.16 percent, Uniswap rising by 2.00 percent, and Cosmos climbing by 0.67 percent, among others. However, cryptos like Solana, Polygon, Polkadot, and Litecoin were down by 1.24 percent, 0.96 percent, 1.54 percent, and 0.74 percent, respectively.

The global crypto market cap stood at $1.02 trillion, up by 0.63 percent since the last day. On the contrary, an 18.65 percent increase was seen in the total crypto market volume, which amounted to $86.80 billion.
Currently, Bitcoin’s dominance is at 38.58 percent, followed by Ethereum, which is at 19.1 percent. Today’s top gainers include Chain, and Dogecoin, which climbed by 25.72 percent and 15.06 percent, respectively, while Toncoin and Klaytn were among the top losers.
Meme coins gain
Meme coins were trading in the green today. Elon Musk-backed Dogecoin zoomed by 15.06 percent over the previous day and is presently trading at $0.142. Another canine-based meme coin, Shiba Inu, increased by 5.14 percent to $0.0000128 (at the time of writing).

Metaverse token down
Popular Metaverse tokens like Decentraland, The Sandbox, Axie Infinity, ApeCoin, etc. were trading in the red today. Their prices have dipped by 1.17 percent, 0.25 percent, 0.43 percent, and 2.18 percent, respectively, since the past day.
