The T20 World Cup is well underway with the all-important Super 12 stage up and running.
Hosts Australia are the defending champions on home soil, having clinched their first title in this format by brushing aside neighbours New Zealand by eight wickets in the final in Dubai last year.
They started as favourites to successfully defend their crown as they host the World Cup two years later than originally planned due to the Covid-19 pandemic, however a heavy defeat to New Zealand in the opening match put them under pressure before a win over Sri Lanka.
England will hope to compete for their second title and first since 2010 after falling at the semi-final stage last year and eased past Afghanistan in their opener, while India are eager to end a run of 15 years without success since their victory in the inaugural tournament in 2007, seeing off rivals Pakistan in a thriller.
The likes of South Africa will also have designs on a deep run, though two-time champions West Indies did not even make it through to this stage after a shock elimination in the first round.
