Create Call Link WhatsApp: The purpose behind introducing the new feature is to allow anyone with a WhatsApp account to join a call by just clicking a link.
Create Call Link WhatsApp: Meta-owned messaging application WhatsApp is working on multiple new features to provide better experience to the users on its platform. Now, WhatsApp has reportedly released the ability to create a link to join a call to some iOS users.
According to WABetaInfo, a website that tracks all the latest WhatsApp movements, the new update is available on the App Store. Its build number is – 22.21.77.
Last month, the popular messaging app released the same update to some android beta users. However, due to some reasons, it was disabled for all android and iOS users.
The WABetaInfo also shared a screenshot of the new feature. “When you create a link for a call, you can even choose the type of call (voice or video) and the call is automatically converted to a group call when more than two people joined the call. In addition, calls created by using a link are still end-to-end encryption so people that didn’t join the call cannot listen to its content,” it said.
The purpose behind introducing the new feature is to allow anyone with a WhatsApp account to join a call by just clicking a link. You can send the link to a person or group on WhatsApp, or copy the link and share it another way. Call link calls are end-to-end encrypted.
