For the third time in a row, gold and silver prices are trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).
On the MCX, the price of gold futures maturing on December 5 stands at Rs 50,814 per 10 grams, recording a dip of 0.60 per cent today. Similarly, the price of silver maturing on December 5 is Rs 58,000, going down by 1.51 per cent or Rs 884.

On Tuesday, the price of gold was trading at lower rates, at Rs 50,915 per 10 grams. Silver stood at Rs 58,800 per kg.
The market closed at Rs 51,096 per 10 grams on October 12 for gold. On the other hand, the price of silver stood at Rs 58,535 per kg when the market closed yesterday.

GOLD SILVER RATES
In India, gold prices are dependent on international prices and the performance of the Indian rupee against the US dollar.
The 24-carat of gold was trading at Rs 51,050 per 10 grams on the MCX on Wednesday. Meanwhile, in Chennai, the price for 10 grams of 24-carat gold was Rs 51,600.
