Muhurat Trading Diwali Session 2022: Date, Time: According to Calendar of ‘Trading Holidays for 2022 – Equity Segment, Equity Derivative Segment and SLB Segment’ on BSE and National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India Limited’s Circular, Muhurat Trading 2022 will take place on October 24, 2022.

As per BSE, on October 24, 2022, Monday, the exchange will remain closed – Trading Holiday – on account of Diwali-Laxmi Pujan but “Muhurat Trading shall be held on October 24,2022 (Diwali – Laxmi Pujan). Timings of Muhurat Trading shall be notified subsequently. ”
“The Exchange may alter / change any of the above holidays, for which a separate circular shall be issued in advance,” BSE said.

According to NSE, October 24,2022 i.e. Monday is a Trading holiday for the calendar year 2022 on account of Diwali-Laxmi Pujan. “Muhurat Trading will be conducted on Monday, October 24, 2022. Timings of Muhurat Trading shall be notified subsequently,” NSE India said in its circular.

All trades executed in the Diwali Muhurat trading session would result in settlement obligations.
The session also marks the beginning of a new Samvat — the Hindu calendar year that starts on Diwali — and it is believed that muhurat trading brings prosperity and wealth throughout the year
The exchanges will remain closed on October 24 on the occasion of Diwali Balipratipada.
