Banks have been raising interest rates in the country for the past few months amid tight monetary policy
The RBI’s Monetary Policy Committee is scheduled to meet next week to decide on the interest rates in the country. The panel has hiked interest rates thrice in the past three review meetings since May. Following this, banks have also been raising interest rates for the past few months.
Here’s the comparison of the current fixed deposit (FD) interest rates offered by three lenders Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and HDFC Bank on deposits below Rs 2 crore:
